Lord Huron Series

This lettering series is little more than an expression of my obsession for the musical act, Lord Huron. All lettering is freehanded by myself. Not sure what it is about their complex, goofy, ridiculous space-time black void what is the purpose of life-ness, but it's got me hooked.

I'm interested in long-form pieces. The Lord Huron series is an opportunity to tie together multiple pieces across several albums while capturing the essence of the Lord Huron experience. Below are some examples of pieces at various stages of completion. I work on this project as a warm up so the pieces are always evolving.

 

This series started as a singular piece with the Tubbs Tarbell quote. However, the universe has delivered Ben Schneider's lyrics to us as an other worldly gift and choosing just one would be heresy.
